REMINDER: INTER-DISTRICT TRANSFERS MUST BE RENEWED EVERY YEAR
Open Enrollment Window: March 1, 2010 to April 15, 2010
Students who reside outside the Redlands Unified School District boundaries may apply for enrollment in the Redlands Unified School District. Applications for Inter-district Attendance Permit forms are available from the student’s resident district and require approval from the resident district prior to submitting the request to the Redlands Unified School District.
Inter-district permits are granted on a space available basis and must be renewed yearly. In the event the number of permits requested exceeds capacity at the school or a specific grade level within the school, approvals shall be determined by drawing lots by student, not by family, from the eligible applicant pool. A waiting list shall then be established to indicate the order in which students may be accepted. Students whose names are on the waiting list may not be notified of availability until after the start of school.
If you wish to attend the 2010 Prom, please be aware that you must meet the requirements of the RHS Dance Attendance Policy as outlined below.
Your 2nd Semester Attendance will be checked before all Prom tickets are purchased. Please take a minute to review the policy & don't miss out on this amazing event!
DANCE ATTENDANCE
If a student is suspended, for whatever reason, within 45-school days of an RHS dance, they will be excluded from attending that dance.
In addition, 45 period absences (including detentions, incomplete/non-compliant Short Term Independent Study, suspensions and all truancies) will lead a student to be excluded from attending any dance during the current school year. (Per RHS Attendance Policy, "Upon returning to school a student must turn in a note to the Attendance Office within 48 hours. Students failing to do so will be marked truant.")
This policy will remain in effect until the day of the dance. In this situation, the student will be excluded for the dance and they will receive a reimbursement for the cost of their ticket. RHS is not responsible for any costs incurred in preparation for the dance (dresses, tuxedos, limousines, etc.).
